John brings a deep and rich sales background in the high volume print/mail capital equipment (21 years) industry in the highly competitive Chicago/Milwaukee market. He has deep experience with all phases of the sales cycle and hi-tech document management, from content to print to finishing/inserting, representing two industry leading providers of hi-volume automation, software and service solutions.

 

Starting in door-to-door sales and then as a senior account manager, John has been in hundreds of sales situations and print/mail operations of all sizes, and experienced good, better and best business practices. John sold over $50 million in equipment and services during his tenure, and learned many real-world lessons to share regarding sales force performance and document processing/content management.

Unique Qualifications - New Thinking

John had the benefit of working at headquarters for two big technical sales organizations, and worked under many different management styles and sales force structures, change was a constanthes enjoyed both the boom days of sales and the frustrations of a declining market. Many managers, many schemes, many changes. As a student of the game John has continued to supplement the lessons learned in the field (both good and bad practices), by reading subject matter books and following current thought leadership.

 

Today, John has transitioned from the playing field to the coaches box to share his experiences in his two areas of focus; sales force improvement and mission critical print to mail operations, helping clients seeking optimal solutions in a maze of technology. He is a plain spoken critical thinker who likes to peel the onion to understand things, he has an eye for detail, and a passion for exchanging ideas to assist his clients to reach their highest potentialworking with your team on your side of the table.
